My husband, dog, and I stayed here recently. The location is nice for exploring downtown Lancaster, and the neighbors we encountered were friendly. The king bed and the couch were also incredibly comfortable. However, the listing feels a bit less 'hidden gem' and more like a standard first-floor apartment in a bustling urban setting. The walls are quite thin, and there is a locked entry door right in the bedroom that connects to a main building walkway, which caused quite a bit of noise at all hours. Our dog was pretty anxious at night due to the noise. A few things to note for future guests: street parking was completely full during our stay, and the entrance to rear parking lot is extremely narrow and tight to get in and out of, even in a standard-sized car. Lastly, there's a frosted window inside the shower, which felt unsettling for a first floor apartment. Overall, it's a decorative interior space a few blocks away from the action, but it is much more lively than expected.
