The home is well used but very tastefully decorated. We found the lighting to be challenging; only one light in the kitchen and the stove had not been cleaned. There was not an abundance of serving dishes or utensils either. We were relaxing for the weekend and the property lent to that vibe, especially the dining room. Only one bathroom, but it was upstairs. All beds were comfy and the provision of sheets and towels was a nice touch. Since we were coming from different directions we all drove. The driveway is shared with the neighboring property so, that left us with only 2 off street spaces. Great proximity to trails.
Our family loved our time together at Peter’s place! Everything was as described and better. A beautiful location and hospitable host. We enjoyed a fire each night and the hot tub each evening and morning. Fantastic having a grill to cookout as well. Wonderful nature preserve and parks nearby.
Was ideal for a multigenerational family visit! We cook at home a lot and the kitchen was spacious and lots of toys and books. Yet close enough to local restaurants and sites including downtown Lancaster.
