The Pop Loft | Downtown Lancaster

Place is as interesting and fun as it looks. A luxury of space: main room was 16 feet tall, 16 feet wide and 20 feet deep, with just the right amount of decoration and subtle humor. Sitting on the couch in all that space was actually the high point of our visit to Lancaster. Minimalist and cool. Kitchen was fine, loft bed was comfortable, beautiful bathroom even though it's not at the same level as the bedroom. I knew from reviews that the entry was in the back, but had to figure out how to get there. I wasn't familiar with the realtor type lock on the gate, thought punching in the code would somehow open the gate, but it only allowed the front of the lock to open to reveal the key. In Lancaster, only disappointment was Josephine's restaurant: overpriced, over flavored, as if trying to justify the price. Went to the Demuth museum, interesting exhibits in the house he grew up in. Many of his works are at the Barnes Museum in Philly, in addition to an amazing number of Van Goghs.

Thank you for the excellent hospitality!

My family and I genuinely enjoyed our stay at this unique loft. The owners have made substantive renovations that give a very cozy feel to this rental. Peter is a great communicator and made everything possible for us to have a wonderful experience.
